Steps to Apply for the SBI Concurrent Auditor Vacancy 2025:

• Step 1: Visit the Official Website of The State Bank of India, Central Recruitment & Promotion Department https://bank.sbi/careers
• Step 2: Click the ‘Current Openings’ button under ‘Join SBI’ on the homepage’s menu bar.
• Step 3: Click the ‘Apply Online’ link from the ‘ENGAGEMENT OF RETIRED BANK OFFICERS OF SBI & ERSTWHILE ASSOCIATES BANKS (e-ABs) ON CONTRACT BASIS’ row.
• Step 4: Click on the ‘Apply Online’ link
• Step 5: Click on the ‘Click for New Registration’ button.
• Step 6: Read the list of required documents and keep the necessary documents handy before starting the registration process.
• Step 7: Click on ‘Continue’
• Step 8: Fill in the basic details and complete the Registration Process.
• Step 9: Login using your Registration Number and Password.
• Step 10: Fill in the details as required.
• Step 11: Upload the necessary documents.
• Step 12: Recheck the Application Form before submission.
• Step 13: Complete the Online Payment Process.
• Step 14: Click on the SUBMIT button and your Application Process will be completed. Remember to take a Printout of your Application Form for future reference.

SBI Concurrent Auditor Eligibility (As of 18/02/2025)

i. The officer should have retired from the Bank’s service only on attaining superannuation at the age of 60 years. The officers voluntarily retired/ resigned/ suspended or left the Bank otherwise before superannuation are not eligible for consideration for engagement. However, any officer, who has completed 58 years of age and 30 years of service/pensionable service (both the conditions need to be satisfied) as on the date of applying for voluntary retirement as per e-Circular No. CDO/P&HRD-PM/20/2022-23 dated 21.06.2022 will be eligible for engagement in the Bank upon attaining the age of 60 years.

ii. The engagement shall be for a minimum of 1 year and a maximum of 3 years or up to the attainment of 65 years of age whichever is earlier. As such, the maximum age as of the date of advertisement i.e., on 18.02.2025 should be 63 years for fresh engagement.

iii. Officers should have a good performance track record and thorough knowledge of the Bank’s systems and procedures.

iv. The integrity of the officer/employee should not have been doubtful during his service.

v. No punishment/ penalty (Censure or higher) should have been inflicted on the official during the five years of his service preceding his/her retirement.

vi. Cases of CBI or other law enforcement agencies should not be pending against the official.

vii. The Retired Officer should maintain good health and not be suffering from any major ailments.

viii. Officers of SBI and its e-Associate banks who retired as MMGS-III, SMGS-IV/V & TEGS-VI on superannuation shall be considered for engagement.

ix. The retired officers will not exercise any administrative/financial power during the period of engagement.

x. They shall not be eligible for reimbursement of medical or any other benefits during the engagement period. However, they will continue to avail the facilities to them as a pensioner of the Bank.

xi. The retired officers will not accept any assignment with any other organization during the period of their contractual service in the Bank.

xii. The number of vacancies including reserved vacancies mentioned above is provisional and may vary according to the actual requirement of the Bank.

xiii. Candidates belonging to the OBC category but coming in the ‘creamy layer’ are not entitled to OBC reservation. They should indicate their category as ‘GENERAL’ as applicable.

xiv. A caste certificate issued by a Competent Authority in the format prescribed by the Government of India will have to be submitted by the SC/ST/OBC candidates.

xv. A declaration will have to be submitted in the prescribed format by candidates seeking reservation under the OBC category stating that he/she does not belong to the creamy layer as of the last date of online registration of application. OBC certificate containing the ‘Non-creamy layer’ clause, issued during the period 01.04.2024 to the date of interview, should be submitted by such candidates if called for an interview.

xvi. Maximum age indicated is for General category candidates. No Relaxation in the upper age limit will be available to reserved category candidates.

xvii. The retired personnel should preferably have work experience in the area of audit.

xviii. The applicant should have been retired as of the date of applying. The applicant, if already working on any other contractual agreement with the Bank has to resign for that, if offered the post of Concurrent Auditor and upon his/her acceptance.

xix. Retired Officers with good credit/audit/Forex background and track record retired in the scales of TEGS-VI, SMGS-V, SMGS-IV and MMGS-III should preferably be a resident of the area where the branch/ outfit is located. In case any retired official is applying for a post at his residential place or a place other than his current residential centre, the cost of stay, transport etc. has to be borne by him.

xx. Only one application will be accepted from the Retired Officer for applying at one Circle and multiple applications if received only the first application will be accepted and other applications will be rejected.
