Candidates are required to meet the following Eligibility Criteria:

or Statutory organization/Public Sector Undertaking; i) Holding analogous posts regularly in the parent cadre/department (OR) ii) With 5 (Five) years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto regularly in the Pay Matrix Level-6 (₹.35,400-1,12,400) or equivalent in the parent cadre/department AND iii) Possessing the educational qualification and experience prescribed for direct recruits in Column 7 of Recruitment Rules; Degree in Environmental Engineering or Degree in Civil Engineering with Public Health Engineering as a subject from a recognised University OR Master’s Degree in Environmental Science from a recognised University/Institute and Two years experience in conducting research in to the Environmental Impacts of Pollution and Land Degradation and preparing proposals for the Prevention and Control of Pollution, Developing Conservation Plans, Analysis of Pollutants, identifying their sources and assessing their effects on the Environment, Monitoring the effects of Pollution and Land Degradation, Management, Re-use or Disposal of Hazardous Materials, Collection and Analysis of Data on Breach of Environmental Laws. |
