(i) All candidates shall be required to apply Online for the post whether they are registered with the Employment Exchange or otherwise.

(ii) The Departmental Candidates/ Govt. Servants must also apply online.
(A) The following documents issued by the Head of the Department / Competent Authority are to be uploaded by the Departmental Candidates/ Govt. Servants at the time of filling up of online application form:
(a) No objection Certificate/Intimation letter for all the Departmental Candidates / Govt. Servants.
(b) Candidates seeking age relaxation as a Departmental Candidate / Govt. General Awareness/General Intelligence	Questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidates, general awareness of the environment around them and its application to society. Questions will also be designed to test the knowledge of current affairs, observation/experience and elementary knowledge of computers. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries, especially about History, Culture, Geography, Economics, Science, General politics and Scientific research.
General English & Comprehension	Questions in this test will be set to assess the knowledge of the English Language, its vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms etc. There will also be questions on comprehension of a passage.
Statistics	(a) Sampling Theory: Population and Sample, Parameter and Statistics (Census method and sampling method of data collection), Objects of sampling, methods of sampling, Random and non-random, techniques of sampling under each method, sampling error and non-sampling error, sampling distribution of a statistic, law of statistical regularity, law of inertia of large numbers, central limit theorem.
	(b) Theory of Estimation: The meaning concept of estimation, concept of the estimator, types of estimation, point and interval estimation, desirable properties of an estimator, standard error of the estimator, confidence limits for a population parameter.
	(c) Theoretical Distribution: Definition, Types of theoretical distribution, discrete theoretical distribution, binomial distribution, Poisson distribution, continuous theoretical distribution, normal distribution, standard normal variate-Z distribution, other theoretical distribution, students "t" distribution, Chi-Square Distribution, F-Distribution.
	(d) Correlation and Regression Analysis: Concept of correlation, types of correlation, bivariate distribution and co-variance, simple correlation, Karl Pearson's product-moment coefficient of correlation measure, partial correlation, multiple correlations, Spearman's rank correlation coefficient, properties and uses of correlation, Meaning of regression, types of regression, simple and multiple linear and non-linear regressions, concept and method of least squares, line of best fit, regression coefficients, line of regression of x on y, line of regression on y on x, properties of regression coefficients, utility regression analysis in economic studies, coefficient of determination.
	(e) Analysis of time series: Definition and components of a time series, mathematical models, additive model and multiplicative model of a time series, seasonal variations, measuring through-simple average method-ratio to trend method, cyclical variations, measuring through the residual method, trend and its measurement through-method of moving averages and method of least squares, fitting a second-degree trend, growth curves, and logistic curves add Gompertz curve, interpolation and extrapolation.
	(f) Index Numbers: Definition of index number, types of index number, price index, quantity index, value index, simple index number, weighted index number, construction of index number, problems in construction, methods in construction, simple and weighted-Laspeyre's price index (CPI in India's Price Index, Fisher's ideal index, Splicing of index number-deflating (finding real wages).
	(g) Measures of Central Tendency and partition values: Meaning of average-types of average, arithmetic mean, median, mode (for raw data and ungrouped frequency distribution and grouped frequency distribution), geometric mean, harmonic mean, quartiles, deciles, percentiles (for individual series, discrete frequency distribution and frequency distribution with class interval.
	(h) Measures of Dispersion: Meaning & types of dispersion, range, quartile deviation, mean deviation, standard deviation and variance (along with absolute measure, the relative measure or co-efficient of every kind of dispersion), coefficient of variation, combined standard deviation, Lorenz curve (application in income distribution).
