Educational Qualification
& Experience

(i) a post graduate degree in Phychology or Clinical
Phychology or Neuro Phychology or Forensic Phychology or
Investigation Phychology obtained from any of the Universities
established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State
Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as
such or declared to be deemed as University under section 3 of
the University Grants Commission Act, 1956;
or
(ii) a bachelor’s degree with Phychology as a principal subject
obtained from any of the Universities established or
incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act India; or any
other educational institution recognized as such or declared to
be deemed as University under section 3 of the University
Grants Commission Act, 1956;
and
(A) have about two years’ experience on the post not below the
rank of Laboratory Technician, Class III, in the subordinate
service of the Directorate of Forensic Science, Gujarat State in
the respective group of sections/divisions of the Forensic
Science Laboratory;
or
(B) have about two years’ experience of reseach or analytical
work in the respective subject in the Government or local bodies
or Government Undertaking Board or corporation or Private or
Public sector laboratory or research institute or limited company
established under the Companies Act, 2013 or University or
college on the post which can be considered equivalent to the
post not below the rank of the Laboratory Technician, Class III,
in the subordinate service of the Directorate of Forensic Science,
Gujarat State;” 

(C) Possesses the basic knowledge of computer application as
prescribed in Gujarat Civil Services Classification and
Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967 

(D) Possesses adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or Both

1. Possess a Ph. D. degree or 2. At least a Second Class Post Graduate Degree in any branch of Horticulture obtained from any of the Agriculture/ Horticulture Universities incorporated or established by or under the Central Agriculture / Horticulture Universities Act or a State Agriculture / Horticulture Universities Act in India. 2. Possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules,1967; and 3. Have adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

1. Have about three or five years of experience on the post, not below the rank of Horticulture officer, class II, in the Gujarat Horticulture service, under the Directorate of Horticulture; or 2. Have about three or five years’ separate or combined experience in the field of Horticulture Research / Horticulture Extension service / Horticulture education / Horticulture Engineering in the Government/ Government Undertaking/ Board/Corporation/Local Bodies/ Government recognized University/ Government Research Institute / Limited Company established under the Companies Act, 2013/ University / Krishi Vigyan Kendra falling under the jurisdiction of Agriculture Technology Research Institutions of the Indian Council of Agriculture Research on the Post which can be considered equivalent to the post not below the rank of Horticulture Officer, Class II, in the Gujarat Horticulture Service under the Directorate of Horticulture.

(b) (i) possess a Ph. D. in Climate Change / Environment Management/
Environment Science/ Energy Management obtained from any of the
Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a
State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognised as such
or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the
University Grants Commission Act 1956; and
(ii) have about eight years experience in the field of Climate Change /
Environment Management / Environment Science/Energy Management
in Government/Government undertaking/Board/Corporation/ Limited
company established under the Companies Act, 2013 on the post which
can be considered equivalent to the post not below the rank of Class II,
Gazetted officer in Government of Gujarat.
or
(c) (i) possess Masters Degree in Climate Change/Environment
Management /Environment Science/Energy Management obtained from
any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the
Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution
recognised as such or declared to be deemed as a University under
section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act 1956; and
(ii) Have about ten years experience in the field of Climate Change/
Environment Management / Environment Science/Energy Management
in Government/Government undertaking/Board/Corporation/ Limited
company established under the Companies Act, 2013; on the post which
can be considered equivalent to the post not below the rank of Class II,
Gazetted officer in Government of Gujarat. (d) Possesses the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed
in Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General)
Rules, 1967 

(e) Possesses adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or Both

a degree in Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.)
obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or
under the Central or a State Act in India, or any other educational
institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as University
under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or
possess an equivalent qualification recognized under Indian Medicine
Central Council Act,1970.
[ 3 ] Possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the
Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967;
[ 4 ] Have adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

possess,-
a Master degree in Science (Nursing) obtained from any of the
Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a
State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognised as
such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of
the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 and recognised by the
Indian Nursing Council;
(b) Experience: -
have atleast ten years' experience after obtaining the Master degree
in Science (Nursing) out of which atleast seven years' experience
should be teaching experience of Nursing College, Nursing School
or Training Institutions of Nursing recognised by the Indian
Nursing Council.
(c) have registered his name with the Indian Nursing Council or any
state Nursing Council in India established under the relevant law.
[ 3 ] Possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the
Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules,
1967;
[ 4 ] Have adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both

A Post Graduate Degree in Nursing obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational Institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as University under section - 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; and recognized by the Indian Nursing Council. 2. Possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967; and 3. Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

Have at least 8 years’ experience after obtaining a post graduate degree in Nursing out of which about 5 years’ experience should be the teaching experience of Nursing College, or Nursing School or Training institutions of Nursing recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.

(B) (i) Post-Graduate Degree in respective subject as shown in the
Annexure against the each post, obtained from any of the Universities
established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in
India; or possess an equivalent qualifications recognized by the
National Medical Commission or as the case may be possess an
equivalent qualification recognized by Dental Council of India or a
degree of Diplomate of National Board awarded by the National
Board of Examinations; or
(ii) a post-graduate diploma in respective subject as shown in the
Annexure against the each post obtained from any of the Universities
established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in
India; or possess an equivalent qualifications recognized by the
National Medical Commission; or as the case may be possess an
equivalent qualification recognized by Dental Council of India and
have about two years’ experience in respective subject in

Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State
Act in India; or any other educational institutions recognised as such or
declared to be a deemed University under section 3 of the University
Grants Commission Act,1956 (3 of 1956) or possess any other an
equivalent qualification specified in the National Medical Commission
Act,2019; or as the case may be possess an equivalent qualification
recognized by Dental Council of India; and
(B) (i) Post-Graduate Degree in respective subject as shown in the
Annexure against the each post, obtained from any of the Universities
established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in
India; or possess an equivalent qualifications recognized by the
National Medical Commission or as the case may be possess an
equivalent qualification recognized by Dental Council of India or a
degree of Diplomate of National Board awarded by the National
Board of Examinations; or
(ii) a post-graduate diploma in respective subject as shown in the

(B) (i) Post-Graduate Degree in respective subject as shown in the

National Medical Commission or as the case may be possess an
equivalent qualification recognized by Dental Council of India or a
degree of Diplomate of National Board awarded by the National

(ii) a post-graduate diploma in respective subject as shown in the

M.D.(Pathology) or Post Graduate
Diploma in Pathology or DNB
(Clinical Pathology

(A) possess a degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery
obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or
under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational
institution recognised as such or declared to be deemed as a University
under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act,1956; or possess
any other equivalent qualification specified in the First or Second
Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act,1956; and B). (i) possess a post-graduate diploma in respective subject as shown in the
Annexure against the each post obtained from any of the Universities
established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in
India; or possess an equivalent qualifications recognized by the Medical
Council of India; and have about two years’ experience in Government
Hospital/ Non-Government Organisation Hospital/ Hospital run by
Registered Trust/Local Bodies; or
(ii) possess post-graduate degree in respective subject as shown in the
Annexure against the each post, obtained from any of the Universities
established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India;
or possess an equivalent qualifications recognized by the Medical Council
of India; [ 3 ] Possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the
Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules,
1967;
[ 4 ] Have adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

(1) Possess a Bachelor‟s degree obtained from any of the Universities established or
incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational
institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of
the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification
recognized by the Government;
A candidate who has appeared or intends to appear or awaiting the result of the
final semester/year of the required qualification, can apply, but the candidate has to
qualify and submit the required qualification as advertised before the last date of
submitting the application for mains examination. A Candidate who fails to produce the
proof of passing the Bachelor‟s degree Examination shall not be eligible for admission to
Mains Examination.
(2) Possess the basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the
Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules 1967;
(3) Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

The basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967. 3. Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or Both languages are essential.

Possess a Bachelor Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering of any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be a deemed university under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; 2. The basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967. 3. Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or Both languages are essential.

(i) a Bachelor's degree of Architecture or of Civil Engineering
/Technology or of Planning obtained from any of the
Universities established or incorporated by or under the
Central or State Act in India; or any other educational
institution recognized as such or declared to be a deemed
university under section 3 of the University Grants
Commission Act, 1956; and
(ii) a post graduate degree or post graduate diploma in city
Planning / Town Planning / Regional Planning /Traffic and
Transportation Planning/ Urban Design/ Urban Planning/
Infrastructure Planning/ Industrial Planning or
Environmental Planning obtained from any of the
Universities established or incorporated by or under the
Central or State Act in India; or any other educational
institution recognized as such or declared to be a deemed
university under section 3 of the University Grants
Commission Act, 1956 or institution approved by All India
Council for Technical Education.

Possess a Degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S) of any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be a deemed university under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; or possess any other qualification specified in the first or second schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act,1956; 2. The basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967. 3. Possess a Bachelor Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering or Auto-mobile Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering obtained from Technical Examination Board or any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the central or State Act in India or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be a deemed university under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; 2. The basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967. 3. Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or Both languages are essential.

Only for Diploma Holders: Should have at least two years’ experience in the field of Mechanical Engineering or Auto-mobile engineering in Government or local bodies or government undertaking board or corporation or limited company established under the companies act, 1956.

a Bachelor's degree obtained from any of the Universities
established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State
Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized
as such or declared to be deemed as a university under
section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956,
and Completed the Station Officer and Instructor's course
recognized by the National Fire Service College, Nagpur.

of Technology (Fire) / Bachefor's degree of Engineering
(Fire and safety) / Bachelor's degree of Technology (Fire
and satety) / Bachelor of Science (Fire) / Bachelor's degree
of Science (Fire and Safety) obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the
Central or State Act in India or any other educational
institution recognized as such or declared to be a deemed
university under section 3 of the University Grants
Commission Act, 1956.

Upper Age Relaxation

(1) If experience is prescribed as one of the
qualifications, the upper age limit shall
not apply.
(2) If experience is not prescribed as one
of the qualifications and Govt. servant
appointed to a post requiring a
Medical, Engineering, Veterinary or,
Agriculture degree or diploma and who
applied for any such post, the upper age
limit shall not apply.
(3) If experience is not prescribed as one
of the qualifications in the
advertisement, Govt. servants who are
working on the post from which an
employee can be promoted to the post
so advertised, be entitled to relaxation
of 5 years, or to the extent of equal
number of years for which service has
been put in by him, which is less.

Provided that the upper age limit shall not apply to the
candidate who is already in the service of the
Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation either as a
permanent or temporary servant and appointed on the
regular pay scale and he is officiating continuously for
six months or more.
Provided further that the upper age limit may also be
relaxed in favour of a candidate who is working in the
Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation on contract basis
at least for a period of not less than six months at the
time of his application for direct selection and he is in
the service of Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation on
the date of offer of appointment to the post, in the event
of his selection on the post, to the extent of equal
number of months for which service has been put in by
him.
Explanation:
The above provision of age relaxation shall apply to the
candidate who is appointed on contract basis as per
instruction given under government in finance
department Gr no.ખરચ /2002/57/Z1 dated 16/02/2006
General Administration department gr No.CRR/11-
2008/433717/G5 dated 04/06/2009 and in accordance
with the provision of the relevant recruitment rules of
the post concern and as per regular recruitment
procedure. it shall not apply to the candidate who is
appointed on contract basis for the period of 11 months
or otherwise or appointed by the outsource agency.
