Appointment to the post of Divisional Accounts Officer through By Transfer (In-service quota)
appointment will be based on the marks secured in the competitive and qualifying examination
(Objective Type OMR Test) conducted by the Kerala Public Service Commission, comprising of the

i) Bachelor's degree from any UGC recognized University/National Institutes established by the Central

qualification shall not be considered as an alternative qualification for KTET Cat. III and Cat.

Note:- (i) M.Phil in the concerned subject be the one awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or
recognised as equivalent by any of the Universities in Kerala.
(ii) Post Graduates in Malayalam are also eligible to apply for the post provided they have
B.Ed/B.T/L.T qualification.
(iii) B.Ed should also be in the concerned language viz. Malayalam.
(iv) The discipline in which B.A/M.A and B.Ed. Degree were obtained should be mentioned in
the application form.
(v) The Employees of the General Education Department who have entered in Service
before 31.03.2012 and have completed the prescribed period of Service as Clerk/
Typist/Attender/Office Attendant/ Binder are exempted from acquiring KTET qualification

(vi) KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 a (ii) will be applicable for the post.
(vii) “In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, qualifications declared by
the Government as equivalent qualifications through Executive/Standing Orders and higher
qualifications with prescribed qualification as basic qualification will be accepted.

(i) A pass in Pre-Degree or equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks or 'B' Grade in
Science subjects. Relaxation of 10% marks will be allowed to those belonging to Scheduled
Caste/Scheduled Tribes who come under the purview of G.O (P) 208/66/PD dated 21.05.1966 and
subsequent orders/amendments.
(ii) S.S.L.C or equivalent for Ex-servicemen who have passed Class I Blood Transfusion Assistant
Test and have put in not less than 15 years service in the Armed Forces.
(b) Technical
A pass in one year Medical Laboratory Technician's Training Course conducted by the Medical
Colleges in Kerala or by the Public Health Laboratory, Thiruvananthapuram or any qualification
equivalent thereto.

(1) Pass in SSLC or its equivalent.
(2) A pass certificate obtained after successful completion of Nurse-cum-Pharmacist Training
Course (Homoeopathy)/Certificate Course in Pharmacy (Homoeopathy) conducted by the

3. (i) Must have passed SSLC/Plus Two/Pre-Degree with Tamil as I or II Language.

(ii) A Pass in Degree or Post Gradudation in Tamil Language.
In the absence of qualifications referred in(i) and (ii) above its equivalent shall also be considered.(GO(P)

2. Diploma in Rural Service awarded by the National Council for Rural Higher Education will also be

3. The applicant should have taken Botany or Zoology as main subject for Graduation or post
Graduation.The Candidates who possess B Ed Degree in Natural science after obtaining a degree in
Microbiology or Home Science or Family and Community Science before 22.09.2022 are also

4. The candidates who have acquired BSc.Ed in Chemistry-Botany-Zoology stream conducted by the
Regional Institute Of Education in Mysore of NCERT are also eligible to apply for the post.

5. B.Ed in Life science awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala through a regular course of study
or B.Ed in Life science awarded by Universities outside Kerala through a regular course of study
which is recognised as equivalent to B.Ed in Natural Science by any of the Universities in Kerala

6. B.Sc Biotechnology along with B.Ed-Natural Science will be considered as one of the qualifications
for the post.(GO(Ms) No:113/14/GEdn dtd 19/6/2014).
7. Candidate applying to the post should have sufficient knowledge in Tamil Which will be tested at
the time of interview. If there is a written (Descriptive/OMR) test the question paper for the written
test will be in Tamil. The candidates should answer the questions in Tamil. In the case of OMR
answer script, answers are to be marked as instructed.
8. Rule 10(a) ii of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable for this post.

Government of Kerala
Exemption: (i) Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D in the respective
subjects or M.Ed are exempted from acquiring TET (G.O.(P) No.145/16/G.Edn. Dated 30.08.16 and
G.O.(P) No.206/16/G.Edn. Dated 08.12.2016).
(ii) As per G.O.(P)No.6/2024/GEDN dtd 01.02.2024, exemptions are given to those who have passed
CTET Primary stage from KTET Category I and CTET Elementary stage from KTET Category II,
but CTET (Primary stage & Elementary stage) will not be considered against KTET Category III and
IV.

3. Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET IV) for this post conducted by the
Government of Kerala. 

Exemption: Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D in the respective subjects
or M.Ed are exempted from acquiring TET (G.O.(P) No.145/16/G.Edn. Dated 30.08.16 and G.O.(P)
No.206/16/G.Edn. Dated 08.12.2016). 

As per G.O.(P)No.6/2024/GEDN dtd 01.02.2024, exemptions are given to those who have passed
CTET Primary stage from KTET Category I and CTET Elementary stage from KTET Category II,
but CTET (Primary stage & Elementary stage) will not be considered against KTET Category III and
IV.

1. A degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala.
OR
A title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala
OR
A Pass in Pre-degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the Calicut University.
OR
A pass in Plus two, Part III, Arabic (optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher
Secondary Examinations Kerala.
OR
A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations,
Kerala with Arabic under Part I and Part II First Language.
OR
A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations,
Kerala or its equivalent and any one of the following qualifications.
(i) A pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Higher) conducted by the Commissioner for
Government Examinations, Kerala
(ii) A pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Lower) conducted by the Commissioner for
Government Examinations, Kerala
(iii) A pass in Arabic Teachers Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government
Examinations, Kerala
(iv) A pass in Arabic Entrance Examination of the Kerala/Calicut Universities. (i) Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D in the respective
subjects or M.Ed are exempted from acquiring TET (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. Dated
30.08.16 , G.O. (P) No. 206/16/G.Edn. Dated 08.12.2016).
(ii) As per G.O.(P)No.6/2024/GEDN dtd 01.02.2024, exemptions are given to those who
have passed CTET Primary stage from KTET Category I and CTET Elementary stage from

(iii) Candidates who have acquired KTET Category III are exempted from acquiring
KTET Category IV [G.O.(Ms)No.109/22/GEDN dated. 24.06.2022]

1) A Degree in Arabic or a Degree with Arabic as one of the optional subjects under pattern II of Part
III and B.Ed/B.T/L.T conferred or recognised by the Universities in Kerala.
OR
A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala (if
such title has been declared as equivalent to Part III of Degree) and Certificate in Language
Teacher's Training issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. 2) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the
Government of Kerala.
Exemption:
1. Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D in the respective subjects / M.Ed.
in any subject are exempted from acquiring TET (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. Dated 30.08.16,
G.O.(P)No.206/16/G.Edn. Dated 08.12.2016 and G.O (P) No.15/2020/G.Edn dated 9.10.20).
2. Candidates who have passed CTET Primary stage and CTET Elementary stage are excluded
from KTET Cat. I & KTET Cat. II respectively. But CTET(Primary Stage & Elementary Stage)
qualification shall not be considered as an alternative qualification for KTET Cat. III and Cat. IV.
