Step 2: Click the ‘Apply Online’ button on the homepage.

Step 3: Read the Necessary Instructions for filling up the Online Application & Click on the ‘OK’ button.

Step 4: Click on the ‘Register’ button.
Step 5: Fill in the basic details and complete the Registration Process (Create an Account).

Step 6: Login using your Email address/Phone Number and Password.

Step 7: Fill in the details as required.
Step 8: Upload the necessary documents.
Step 9:  Recheck the Application Form before submission.
Step 10: Complete the Online Payment Process.

Step 11: Click on the SUBMIT button and your Application Process will be completed. Remember to take a Printout of your Application Form for future reference.

Documents Required

(I) H.S.C. or equivalent certificate in support of declaration of age issued by the concerned Board/Council;

(ii) B.E./ B.Tech./B.S. Degree certificate wherever applicable;

(iii) M.E./M. Tech./M.S./Integrated M. Tech. in relevant branch wherever applicable;
(iv) Ph.D. Degree Certificate;
(v) Mark lists in support of all the aforesaid Examinations (H.S.C. to PhD Degree) including fail marks, if any, issued by the concerned Board / Council/University.

(vi) Research Papers.
(vii) Research Publications.
(viii) For Engineering disciplines, experience certificate showing a minimum of 08 years of experience in teaching/research/ industry (level 10, entry pay 57770)
(ix) For Engineering disciplines, experience certificates showing a minimum of 02 years of post-Ph.D. experience.

NOTE: Candidates who have not been awarded a percentage of marks, but only “GRADE MARKS”, should, along with their applications, produce the Conversion Certificate from the concerned University including the actual equivalent percentage of marks and the conversion formula, failing which, their applications are liable to be rejected.

OPSC Associate Professor Recruitment 2024 – Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidate must be a citizen of India;
  • He/she must be of good character, sound health, and free from any organic defect or physical infirmity.
  • A candidate, who has more than one spouse living, will not be eligible for appointment unless the State Government has exempted his/her case from operation of this limitation for any good and sufficient reasons;
  • Government servants, whether permanent or temporary or on probation against a vacancy in permanent/temporary posts in any Department of Government, are eligible, provided they possess the requisite qualification and are within the prescribed age limit as mentioned under Para-3 and Para-4 of this advertisement. They must inform their respective Heads of the Office in writing regarding submission of their application for this recruitment and furnish a “No Objection Certificate” during document verification.
  • If a candidate has at any time, been debarred for a certain period/ chance(s) by the Odisha Public Service Commission or by UPSC from appearing at any examination/ viva voce test, he/she will not be eligible for such recruitment for that specified period/ chance(s);
  • Only those candidates, who possess the requisite qualifications, are within the prescribed age limit fulfil other eligibility conditions etc. by the closing date for submission of the online application form, will be considered eligible.
  • A candidate who claims change in his/her name after having passed the HSC Examination is required to furnish a copy of the publication of the changed name in the local leading daily newspaper as well as a copy of notification in the Gazette in support of his/her change of name;
  • Every candidate selected for appointment shall be examined by the Medical Board. A candidate, who does not satisfy the requirement after medical examination, shall not be appointed.

Candidates applying for the Post of Associate Professor should be a minimum of 21 Years of age & maximum of 60 Years of age as of 04/10/2024.

OPSC Associate Professor Recruitment 2024 – Educational Qualification

Aspiring Candidates are requested to fulfil these Educational Qualifications:

least 2 years shall be Post Ph.D. experience.

AND

(d) At least a total research score of 75 (seventy-five) on the last
date of the application (as per the criteria given in Appendix-
II, Table-2 of UGC Regulations vide notification No. F.1-
2/2017(EC/PS) dated 18.07.2018).		Direct Recruitment of Workshop Superintendent (Associate
Professor) shall be at par with Associate Professor with the
qualification as prescribed for the Associate Professor in
Mechanical/ Production Engineering.
