Steps to Apply for the RBI BMC 2025:

  • Step 1: Visit the Official website of the Reserve Bank of India https://opportunities.rbi.org.in/Scripts/index.aspx
  • Step 2: Click the “VACANCIES” button on the homepage under the ‘Current Vacancies’ section from the menu bar.
  • Step 3: Click on “Engagement of Bank’s Medical Consultant (BMC) on a contractual basis with fixed hourly remuneration at Reserve Bank of India, Kanpur” (under the vacancies section).
  • Step 4: Download the ‘Application Form PDF.’
  • Step 5: Fill out the Application Form as required.
  • Step 6: Attach one set of self-attested photocopies of all educational qualifications and experience certificates (specifying nature and period).
  • Step 7: Affixed one Self-attested recent passport-size photograph on the prescribed Application Form available.
  • Step 8: Recheck your Application Form & attached documents carefully.
  • Step 9: Send your Application Form along with the required attachments through registered post/ courier/by hand to the Address:

The envelope should be superscripted with “‘Application for the post of Bank’s Medical Consultant (BMC) on a contract basis with fixed hourly remuneration’”

Bank's Medical Consultants (BMC)
(i) Applicant should have a minimum MBBS degree of any university recognized by the Medical Council of India in the allopathic system of medicine.

(ii) Applicant having postgraduate degree in General Medicine from any University recognized by the Medical Council of India may also apply for the post.
The Applicant should have a minimum of 02 (two) years of experience practicing medicine in any hospital or clinic as Registered Medical Practitioner.
The applicants should have their own private clinic / dispensary or place of residence within a radius of 10 to 15 Km from the Bank’s dispensary at the aforementioned location.

RBI BMC Selection Process

  • The RBI Bank’s Medical Consultant (BMC) post-selection process consists mainly of three phases:

(I) Interview

(II) Medical Test

(III) Document Verification

RBI BMC Remuneration

  • ₹1000/- per hour for the entire period of the contract.
  • Out of the total monthly remuneration so payable, a sum of ₹1,000/- per month may be treated as conveyance expense.
