UKPSC Superintendent Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are required to meet the following Eligibility Criteria:
Nationality: For direct recruitment to the post of UKPSC Superintendent, it is necessary that the candidate:
- (a) is a citizen of India, or
- (b) is a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent residence in India, or
- (c) is a person of Indian origin who has come to Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or any East African country Kenya, Provided that a candidate belonging to category (b) or (c) above shall be required to obtain a certificate of eligibility from the State Government; Provided further that a candidate belonging to category (b) shall be required to obtain a certificate of eligibility from the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Intelligence, Uttarakhand Provided also that if a candidate belongs to category (c) above, the certificate of eligibility shall not be issued for a period exceeding one year and such candidate shall be retained in service beyond a period of one year subject to the condition that he has acquired Indian citizenship.
- Mandatory/Desirable Qualification:
Candidates will be eligible to apply for recruitment to direct recruitment posts of Group ‘C’ under the purview of the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission and outside the purview of the Public Service Commission, with their high school and intermediate or equivalent level education from recognised institutions situated in the state of Uttarakhand.
But personnel working in military/paramilitary forces are regularly appointed to regular posts in any government/semi-government institution established under the State Government or Central Government.
Or such employees working in Uttarakhand on regular posts in the public sector undertakings of the Central Government, whose services cannot be transferred outside Uttarakhand, themselves or their spouses, as the case may be, and their sons/daughters, shall be eligible to apply for selection to direct recruitment posts of Group “C” in the services under the State,
Further, the permanent residents of the State who are residing outside Uttarakhand for livelihood/study, themselves or their spouses, as the case may be, and their sons/daughters shall also be eligible to apply for direct recruitment posts of Group “C”
UKPSC Superintendent Educational Qualification
(i) A University established by law in India or (ii) An Institution other than a University recognized or declared under the law to be a University ; or (iii) A Foreign University recognized by the Central Government. | (ii) Practical experience in Social work. |
