UKSSSC AAO Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are required to meet the following Eligibility Criteria:

For recruitment to the direct recruitment posts of Group ‘C’ outside the purview of Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, one of the following mandatory/desirable qualifications is necessary:-

(a) The candidate should be registered in any employment office in the state of Uttarakhand until the last date of receipt of the application.

(b) The candidate should hold a Domicile/Permanent Residence Certificate of Uttarakhand State.

(c) Only those candidates will be eligible to apply for recruitment to the direct recruitment posts of Group ‘C’ outside the purview of Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, who have passed their High School and Intermediate or equivalent level education from recognized institutions situated in the state of Uttarakhand.

Provided that personnel working in the armed forces/paramilitary forces and regularly appointed to regular posts in the State Government or any Government/Semi-Government institution established under it and such personnel working in Uttarakhand on regular posts in the Central Government or Public Sector Undertakings of the Central Government, whose services are not transferable outside Uttarakhand, themselves or their husband/wife, as the case may be. Their son/daughter shall be eligible to apply for selection to direct recruitment posts of Group “C” in the services under the State. Permanent residents of the State who reside outside Uttarakhand for livelihood/studies, themselves or their husband/wife, as the case may be, and their son/daughter, shall also be eligible to apply for direct recruitment posts of Group ‘C’.

(d) As per Government letter no. 1097/XXX(2)/2011 dated 08.08.2011, “Persons who are already employed in the services under the State, but are willing to apply for the posts advertised in this advertisement, are not required to register in the Employment Office. “As per Uttarakhand Government letter no. 310/XXX(2)/2015 dated 28.07.2015, only the services of Uttarakhand State are included under the services under the State.” Candidates who are employed in services other than Uttarakhand State’s services can get a No Objection Certificate from their department for registration in the Employment Office and get themselves registered there. The above-mentioned candidates, who have submitted a certificate of registration in the Employment Office in the State of Uttarakhand, under the claims made in their online application form, will be provisionally qualified with the condition that they are eligible for this recruitment. Submit a certificate of intent that they have obtained a no objection certificate from their department for registration in the employment office and information regarding this has been given to the concerned employment office. Thus, only after submitting both certificates of intent, those candidates will be considered eligible to apply.

(E) According to the Government letter no. 809/XXX(2)/2010-3(1)/2010 dated 14.08.2012, “Ex-servicemen who have registered in any District Sainik Welfare and Rehabilitation Office of Uttarakhand State will not be required to register again in the employment office and the registration certificate issued to the concerned ex-servicemen by the District Sainik Welfare and Rehabilitation Office will be considered equivalent to registration in the employment office.”

Nationality: A candidate for direct recruitment to any post in the Service must be:

(a) a citizen of India; or

(b) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st of January 1962 to permanently settle in India; or

(c) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka or any of the East African countries, Kenya, Uganda and the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar) to permanently settle in India:

Provided that a candidate belonging to category (b) or (c) of the above category shall be required to obtain a certificate of eligibility from the State Government.

Provided that a candidate belonging to category (b) shall also be required to obtain a certificate of eligibility from the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Intelligence Branch, Uttarakhand; Provided also that if a candidate belongs to category (c) above, a certificate of eligibility shall not be issued for a period exceeding one year and such a candidate shall be retained in service beyond the period of one year subject to the condition that he has acquired the citizenship of India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility as aforesaid is necessary but the same has neither been issued nor refused may be admitted to any examination and may also be provisionally appointed subject to the condition that the necessary certificate is obtained by him or is issued in his favour.

UKSSSC AAO Educational Qualifications (As of 01/07/2025)

Senior Milk Inspector	(a) First Class “Indian Dairy Diploma from a recognized Institute” or First Class Bachelor of Agriculture with specialization in Animal Husbandry and Dairying, or (b) First Class “Indian Dairy Diploma or Bachelor of Agriculture with specialization in Animal Husbandry and Dairying” and at least 03 years experience in coordinating production and marketing operations of milk co-operative societies or working in a standard foreign/Indian milk producer/factory.	Other things being equal, preference shall be given in the case of direct recruitment to a candidate who:- Has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, or Has obtained a "B" or "C" certificate from the National Cadet Corps,
Pharmacist	(I) It is essential to have passed the Intermediate Examination from the Board of Secondary Education, Uttarakhand, with Biology or Mathematics as a subject or any examination recognized by the Government as equivalent to it. (II) For direct recruitment to the posts in the service, it is essential that the candidate should have a Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution and should also be registered with the State Pharmacy Council, Uttarakhand. (III) Should have a working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script,	Other things being equal, preference shall be given in the case of direct recruitment to a candidate who:- Has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, or Has obtained a "B" or "C" certificate from the National Cadet Corps,
Chemist	Master's degree in Chemistry from a University established by law in India.	Other things being equal, preference shall be given in the case of direct recruitment to a candidate who:- Has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, or Has obtained a "B" or "C" certificate from the National Cadet Corps,
Technical Assistant	Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering from a University or Institution established by law in India.	Other things being equal, preference shall be given in the case of direct recruitment to a candidate who:- Has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, or Has obtained a "B" or "C" certificate from the National Cadet Corps,
Laboratory Assistant (Chemistry)	B.Sc. with Chemistry or Soil Chemistry or Agricultural Chemistry or B.Sc. (Agricultural-Soil Science).	Other things being equal, preference shall be given in the case of direct recruitment to a candidate who:- Has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, or Has obtained a "B" or "C" certificate from the National Cadet Corps,

Laboratory Assistant	1. Passed Intermediate Examination with Biology or Science subject from Uttarakhand Education and Examination Board or Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board or any qualification recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto. 2. One and half year certificate/diploma of Laboratory Technician awarded by an institution recognized by State Medical Faculty/Director General of Medical Education.	Other things being equal, preference shall be given in the case of direct recruitment to a candidate who:- Has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, or Has obtained a "B" or "C" certificate from the National Cadet Corps,
Livestock Extension Officer	1. Graduation in any one of the subjects Biology/Agriculture/Animal Husbandry from any University established by law in India. 2. Departmental employees who have completed 5 years of continuous service in the Animal Husbandry Department, Uttarakhand on the first day of the year of recruitment and have passed the Intermediate Examination with Biology or Agriculture subject from Uttarakhand Board of School Education and Examination or Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education or any examination recognized by the Government as equivalent to it.	Other things being equal, preference shall be given in the case of direct recruitment to a candidate who:- (1) has obtained the "B" certificate of the National Cadet Corps, or (2) has obtained the certificate of N.S.S. (3) has rendered 15 years of continuous active service as a Veterinary Dresser Category-I and Category-II in the Remount Veterinary Corps.
Supervisor Canning	Intermediate in Science or Agriculture with a one-year Diploma in Food Processing.	Other things being equal, in case of direct recruitment, preference will be given in service selection to such candidate who:- Has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, Has obtained a 'B' certificate from the National Cadet Corps. Diploma in Hotel Management.
Supervisor (Cookery)	Intermediate with a one-year Diploma in their trade for posts in Culinary Arts/Cookery.	Other things being equal, in case of direct recruitment, preference will be given in service selection to such candidate who:- Has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, Has obtained a 'B' certificate from the National Cadet Corps. Diploma in Hotel Management.
Photographer	Passed B.Sc. Degree in Physics as a subject with at least 50% marks from a recognized University.	Other things being equal, preference shall be given in the case of direct recruitment to a candidate who:- Has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, or Has obtained a "B" or "C" certificate from the National Cadet Corps,
Graduate Assistant	A Bachelor's degree in Science (with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Statistics) with at least a second class from a University established by law in India.	Other things being equal, in case of direct recruitment, preference will be given in selection to such candidate who:- Has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, Has obtained a 'B' certificate from the National Cadet Corps, Training in wool analysis.
Model Assistant	Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in Physics or Chemistry with Mathematics from a recognized institute.	Other things being equal, preference shall be given in the case of direct recruitment to a candidate who:- Has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, or Has obtained a "B" or "C" certificate from the National Cadet Corps,
Scientific Assistant	It is mandatory to have a Bachelor's degree in Physics or Chemistry with Mathematics from a recognized University or have passed an equivalent examination from a recognized Institute.	Other things being equal, preference shall be given in the case of direct recruitment to a candidate who:- Has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, or Has obtained a "B" or "C" certificate from the National Cadet Corps,
Forest Inspector	Candidates should have passed Intermediate (with Agriculture or Science) or equivalent level examination from a Board/Council established by law in India or a recognized school situated in the state of Uttarakhand.
