UKSSSC VDO Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are required to meet the following Eligibility Criteria:

For recruitment to the direct recruitment posts of Group ‘C’ outside the purview of Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, one of the following mandatory/desirable qualifications is necessary:-

(a) The candidate should be registered in any employment office in the state of Uttarakhand until the last date of receipt of the application.

(b) The candidate should hold a Domicile/Permanent Residence Certificate of Uttarakhand State.

(c) Only those candidates will be eligible to apply for recruitment to the direct recruitment posts of Group ‘C’ outside the purview of Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, who have passed their High School and Intermediate or equivalent level education from recognized institutions situated in the state of Uttarakhand.

Provided that personnel working in the armed forces/paramilitary forces and regularly appointed to regular posts in the State Government or any Government/Semi-Government institution established under it and such personnel working in Uttarakhand on regular posts in the Central Government or Public Sector Undertakings of the Central Government, whose services are not transferable outside Uttarakhand, themselves or their husband/wife, as the case may be. Their son/daughter shall be eligible to apply for selection to direct recruitment posts of Group “C” in the services under the State. Permanent residents of the State who reside outside Uttarakhand for livelihood/studies, themselves or their husband/wife, as the case may be, and their son/daughter, shall also be eligible to apply for direct recruitment posts of Group ‘C. ‘

(d) As per Government letter no. 1097/XXX(2)/2011 dated 08.08.2011, “Persons who are already employed in the services under the State, but are willing to apply for the posts advertised in this advertisement, are not required to register in the Employment Office. “As per Uttarakhand Government letter no. 310/XXX(2)/2015 dated 28.07.2015, only the services of Uttarakhand State are included under the services under the State.” Candidates employed in services other than Uttarakhand State’s services can get a No Objection Certificate from their department to register in the Employment Office. The candidates mentioned above, who have submitted a certificate of registration to the Employment Office in the State of Uttarakhand under the claims made in their online application form, will be provisionally qualified with the condition that they are eligible for this recruitment. Submit a certificate of intent that they have obtained a no-objection certificate from their department for registration in the employment office and that information regarding this has been given to the concerned employment office. Thus, only after submitting both certificates of intent, those candidates be considered eligible to apply.

(E) According to the Government letter no. 809/XXX(2)/2010-3(1)/2010 dated 14.08.2012, “Ex-servicemen who have registered in any District Sainik Welfare and Rehabilitation Office of Uttarakhand State will not be required to register again in the employment office and the registration certificate issued to the concerned ex-servicemen by the District Sainik Welfare and Rehabilitation Office will be considered equivalent to registration in the employment office.”

Nationality: A candidate for direct recruitment to any post in the Service must be:

(a) a citizen of India; or

(b) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st of January 1962 to settle permanently in India; or

(c) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka or any of the East African countries, Kenya, Uganda and the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar) to permanently settle in India:

Provided that a candidate belonging to category (b) or (c) of the above category shall be required to obtain a certificate of eligibility from the State Government.

Provided that a candidate belonging to category (b) shall also be required to obtain a certificate of eligibility from the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Intelligence Branch, Uttarakhand; Provided also that if a candidate belongs to category (c) above, a certificate of eligibility shall not be issued for a period exceeding one year and such a candidate shall be retained in service beyond the period of one year subject to the condition that he has acquired the citizenship of India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility as aforesaid is necessary but the same has neither been issued nor refused may be admitted to any examination and may also be provisionally appointed subject to the condition that the necessary certificate is obtained by him or is issued in his favour.

Or Graduation degree with Computer Science subject. It is essential to have a minimum speed of eighty words per minute in Hindi shorthand and a minimum speed of 8000 key depressions per hour in Hindi typing on a computer. It is essential to have a minimum speed of 100 words per minute in English shorthand and a minimum speed of 9000 key depressions per hour in English typing on the computer. Only those candidates who fulfill the standard of these will be entitled to get bilingual allowance. Explanation: The nature of English shorthand test will be optional for the candidates, but preference will be given to the candidates who pass the English shorthand test.	1. Has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, 2. Has obtained "B" or "C" certificate of the National Cadet Corps.
Women Welfare Department	Assistant Superintendent	(i) Bachelor's degree with Sociology as a subject from a University established by law in India or any qualification recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto. (ii) One year experience of administrative work in a Government organization or a recognized voluntary organization.	Diploma in Social Science or Social Technology from a recognized Institution.
Revenue Department	Revenue Sub-Inspector (Patwari)	A person must possess a graduation degree from any University established by law in India or any educational qualification recognised by the Government as equivalent thereto.	1.
