Accordingly, the Commission will conduct a written examination for the selection of the candidates. Note: Shortlisting candidates for the Junior Assistant Main Examination (Prelims-2023)/12 will be done based on their score in the Preliminary Eligibility Test-2023 (PET-2023). Hence, only candidates who have appeared in the Preliminary Eligibility Test-2023 (PET-2023) and have been issued a scorecard (with a valid numerical score) by the Commission can apply online for participation in this examination.

UPSSSC Upcoming Junior Assistant Exam 2024-25: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC), Lucknow has invited Online Applications from the citizens of India for selection to a total of 2702 vacant {2568 (General Selection) + 134 (Special Selection)} Posts of Junior Assistant under the control of various departments. Eligible Candidates can Apply Online from the 23rd of December 2024 to the 22nd of January 2025 (up to 11:59 p.m.). at the Official website https://upsssc.gov.in/Default.aspx

Candidates applying for the Post of UPSSSC Junior Assistant should not be below 18 Years of age & should not exceed 40 Years of age as of 01/07/2024. However, upper-age relaxation applies to different categories.

UPSSSC Junior Assistant Educational Qualification

To confirm their position as UPSSSC Junior Assistant Aspiring Candidates are requested to fulfil these Educational Qualifications:

Junior Assistant	As per Part-IV Rule-10 of Uttar Pradesh Government Department Clerical Cadre Service Rules, 2014 dated 22 September 2014, the candidate must have the following qualifications for direct recruitment to the post of Junior Assistant in the service- (One) Must have passed the Intermediate Examination of the Board of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh or any examination recognized by the Government as equivalent to it. (Two) A minimum speed of 25 words per minute and 30 words per minute in Hindi and English typing respectively is required. (Three) CCC certificate in computer operation awarded by DOEACC Society or any certificate awarded by any institution recognized by the Government as equivalent to it.	As per Part-IV Rule-11 of Uttar Pradesh Government Department Clerical Cadre Service Rules, 2014 dated 22-September, 2014, other things being equal, in case of direct recruitment, preference will be given to such candidate who- 1-Has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of 02 years, or 2-Has obtained a 'B' certificate from the National Cadet Corps.

UPSSSC Junior Assistant Selection Process

The recruitment for the Post of UPSSSC Junior Assistant will be done as per the system (under which only those candidates can apply for the main examination who have appeared in the Commission’s Preliminary Eligibility Examination-2023). Accordingly, the Commission will conduct a written examination for the selection of the candidates.

Note: Shortlisting candidates for the Junior Assistant Main Examination (Prelims-2023)/12 will be done based on their score in the Preliminary Eligibility Test-2023 (PET-2023). Hence, only candidates who have appeared in the Preliminary Eligibility Test-2023 (PET-2023) and have been issued a scorecard (with a valid numerical score) by the Commission can apply online for participation in this examination.

Hindi Knowledge & Writing Ability	Candidates will be asked questions to test their knowledge of the Hindi language and their understanding and writing ability. (This question paper will be of the level of Intermediate Examination of the Board of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh).
General Intelligence Test	The purpose of this test is to measure the ability to understand a new situation, and analyse and identify its various elements and reasons. This test will contain questions based on understanding instructions, finding relationships, similarities and consistencies, drawing conclusions and similar intellectual activities.
General Knowledge	This part of the question paper is meant to assess the candidate's general knowledge of the environment around him and his ability to use it in society. The test will also include questions that will assess the knowledge of current events and facts of everyday observation and experience, including historical and geographical facts (especially relating to India) and their scientific aspects, which can be expected from any educated person.

Step 6: Choose one from ‘Through Personal Details/OTP’
Step 7: Fill in the details as required.
Step 8: Click the “Click Here to Proceed” button.
Step 9: Recheck the Application Form before submission.
Step 10: Complete the Online Payment Process & take a printout of the Application Form for future reference.
