Service Condition

• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department; OR
• With 5 years’ service rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Level 12 (Rs. 78,800 – 2,09,200) in the pay matrix or equivalent.

Educational Qualification & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree / Interpretership / Advanced Diploma in a foreign language (Arabic, Chinese, Dzongkha, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Persian, Russian, Spanish, Tibetan, etc.) with English as a subject from a recognized university or institute.
• Experience: 12 years’ experience in teaching or translation from the foreign language to English and vice versa.

Age Limit

• Maximum age for appointment by deputation shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.

Pay Scale & Benefits

Level 13 in the Pay Matrix (Rs. 1,23,100 – Rs. 2,15,900). Eligible officers selected on deputation are entitled to an additional 20% allowance of basic pay as Special Security Allowance, besides other perks & allowances.
