Educational Qualifications

• At least 2nd class M.Sc. in Forensic Science (with specialization/ dissertation work/ course work/ project work in the field of Chemical Sciences) OR At least 2nd class M.Sc. in Chemistry/ Bio-Chemistry, Pharmacy/ M.S.(Pharm.)/ M. Pharm. degree from a recognized University.
• Minimum seven (07) years of post-qualification experience (acquired after obtaining the above-mentioned degrees) in Research, Training, and Analytical Work within any of the specified subjects.
• Research work conducted specifically for the completion of a Ph.D. degree shall be counted towards the total required experience up to a maximum of three years.

Desirable Qualification

• Ph.D. Degree in one of the specified subjects.
• Knowledge of customs, manners, and dialects of Himachal Pradesh.

Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 45 years
• Upper age relaxation of 5 years is admissible for Bonafide SC/ST/OBC/WFF/PwD of Himachal Pradesh, subject to availability of reserved posts.

Selected candidates as Job Trainee will receive fixed emoluments of Rs. 40,500/- per month.

1. Stage 1: Objective Type Screening Test (Paper-I: 100 Marks) / Descriptive Subject Aptitude Test (Paper-II: 120 Marks)
2. Stage 2: Personality Test (30 Marks)
