Educational Qualification

• AEE (Civil): Degree in Engineering in Civil from any recognised University/Institution OR Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (India in Civil. Must possess a valid GATE Score in Civil Engineering (GATE 2024, 2025, or 2026).
• AEE (Mechanical): Degree in Engineering in Mechanical from any recognized University/Institution OR Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers of India in Mechanical. Must possess a valid GATE Score in Mechanical Engineering (GATE 2024, 2025, or 2026).

Odia Language Requirement

Candidate must be able to read, write, and speak Odia, and must have passed Middle School / Matriculation / Class VII with Odia as a language subject or passed an equivalent Odia test.

Age Limit (as on 01/01/2026)

• Minimum Age: 21 Years
• Maximum Age: 42 Years (Candidate must not be born earlier than 02/01/1984 and not later than 01/01/2005)
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC, ST, SEBC, Women, and Ex-Servicemen; 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (PwD). Cumulative relaxation up to 15 years for PwD candidates belonging to SC/ST/SEBC.

• All Candidates: Exempted / No Fee (Not applicable as recruitment is conducted through GATE score).

Pay Scale

Scale of Pay in Level-12, Cell-1 of Pay Matrix as per ORSP Rules-2017, with usual dearness and other allowances as sanctioned by the Government of Odisha from time to time.

Selection Process

• GATE Score: 90% weightage
• Interview: 10% weightage
• Shortlisting for interview will be done at 2 times the number of advertised vacancies in each category based on valid GATE Score.
