Educational Qualifications & Experience

• Essential Qualification: At least 2nd class M.Sc. in Forensic Science (with specialization/dissertation/course work/project work in Chemical Sciences) OR At least 2nd class M.Sc. in Chemistry / Bio-Chemistry / Pharmacy / M.S.(Pharm.) / M. Pharm. degree from a recognized University.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in Research, Training, and Analytical Work in any of the specified subjects. Research work conducted specifically for a Ph.D. degree shall count towards the required 3 years experience.
• Desirable Qualification: Ph.D. Degree in one of the relevant subjects and knowledge of customs, manners, and dialects of Himachal Pradesh.

Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026)

• Age Range: 18 to 45 years.
• Age Relaxation: 5 years relaxation for Bonafide SC/ST/OBC/WFF/PwD candidates of Himachal Pradesh.
